Artist Blog, Episode 2

Have you ever wondered who the artists behind the puzzles are? Each of our puzzles is an artwork from one of our featured women artists, but who are they? 

"Artist Blog" is a weekly bite-sized blog about one of the featured artists, and this week we have Saloni! This is what she has to say; 

"I have been surrounded with nature throughout my life. It inspired me to look at the world from an organic and tangible perspective. I started drawing still life when I was 12, which eventually led me to pursue art and design as a profession and also as a passion. During my college years, I started experimenting with creating the idea of a 'body' that goes beyond gender and physical experience yet creates an emotional value that all human beings could resonate with. The bodies represent emotions, my own emotions and one I feel that most go through and the plants represent my mom's treatment for her plants as her babies. She talks to them and she knows when they are blooming which inspired me to create such narratives. "
